FUGITIVE ARREST – WARRANT FOR SIMPLE BURGLARY
DAVID GLEN ALEXANDER, JR.
LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of David Glen Alexander, Jr., 43, of 1233 Avanti Lane, West Monroe, LA, on a felony fugitive warrant originating in Calcasieu Parish following a traffic stop on LA 398 west of Labadieville on Friday afternoon.
A uniformed patrol deputy observed an eastbound vehicle with an equipment violation and executed a stop of that vehicle.
The deputy made contact with the driver now identified as David Glen Alexander, Jr. and engaged the driver in an officer / violator interview. During that interview, it was determined that Alexander was driving with a suspended driver’s license. The deputy conducted a warrants check on Alexander at which time it was determined that Alexander was wanted on a fugitive warrant from the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office for simple burglary.
David Glen Alexander was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Fugitive Warrant – Calcasieu Parish – Simple Burglary
David Glen Alexander remains incarcerated pending transfer to the custody of the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office.
