OBSCENITY, INDECENT BEHAVIOR WITH JUVENILES

PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Shannon K. Mabrey, 42, of 111 Rue de Kajun Street, Pierre Part, LA, on felony sex crimes charges upon children under the age of 13.

On June 12, 2023, deputies responded to a complaint in the 100 block of Rue de Kajun Street in reference to an individual performing acts sexual in nature and exposing himself to children under the age of thirteen. The indecent behavior was repetitive.

Detectives initiated an investigation and established probable cause sufficient to obtain an arrest warrant as well as a search warrant. Mabrey was arrested during the execution of the search warrant at his residence on Thursday.

Shannon K. Mabrey was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Obscenity
*Indecent Behavior with Juveniles Under the Age of 13 (2 Counts)

Shannon K. Mabrey remains incarcerated with bond set at $105,000.
