PAROLE VIOLATION, FAILURE TO APPEAR

LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Jamie T. Scarbrough, Sr., 56, of 7171-2 Duke Street, Morgan City, LA, Jamie T. Scarbrough, Jr., 33, of 1098 Highway 662, Bayou L’Ourse, LA, and Meghann Scarbrough, 34, of 1098 Highway 662, Bayou L’Ourse, LA on various warrants after deputies responded to a complaint at a Labadieville business on Thursday evening.

Deputies responded to the location and made contact with Jamie T. Scarbrough, Sr. who advised that he was being harassed by his ex-wife. While speaking to Scarbrough, Sr., deputies were advised that he was wanted on a parole violation related to a prior arrest. Jamie T. Scarbrough, Sr. was arrested.

Deputies and detectives then went to the Bayou L’Ourse address to conduct a welfare check on children after Jamie T. Scarbrough, Sr. advised deputies that there were kids being abused.

Upon arrival, deputies did not locate any children on the premises.

Deputies ran criminal histories on Jamie T. Scarbrough, Jr. and Meghann Scarbrough and determined that both were wanted on warrants for Failure to Appear in Court. Both were arrested.

Jamie T. Scarbrough, Sr., Jamie T. Scarbrough, Jr. and Meghann Scarbrough were all booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges as follows:

– As to Jamie Scarbrough, Sr:
*Parole Violation

Jamie T. Scarbrough, Sr. was order held without bond.

– Jamie T. Scarbrough, Jr.:
*Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish on December 13, 2021 on a Charge of Disturbing the Peace

He remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.

– Meghann Scarbrough:
*Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish on March 30, 2022 on Charges of Disturbing the Peace and Resisting an Officer

Meghann Scarbrough remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
