SIMPLE BURGLARY – JESSICA SMITH

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jessica Smith, 36, of 336 Back Marais Road, Napoleonville, LA, on felony charges related to a recent burglary in which a large amount of lumber was stolen.

On August 30, 2022, deputies responded to the 1500 block of LA 400 and made contact with the complainant who advised that the lumber was stolen during a burglary.

Detectives initiated an investigation and identified several suspects, including Jessica Smith. Warrants were obtained for Jessica Smith and she was arrested on Wednesday and booked into the Assumption Parish Center on charges of:

*Simple Burglary

Jessica Smith remains incarcerated with bond set at $10,000.

Two other suspects were previously arrested in connection with this case.

– Dohriyon D. Millen, 31, of 3719 Highway 1, Napoleonville, LA was arrested on September 2, 2022 and booked on charges of Simple Burglary. Millen posted a $4,000 surety bond.
– Shanta L. Williams, 25, of 3732 Highway 1, Napoleonville, LA was arrested on September 6, 2022 and booked on charges of Simple Burglary. Shanta L. Williams was released on a $15,000 bond.
