TRAFFIC STOP – DRUG ARREST – JILL MARIE PARKER

BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jill Parker, 47, of 835 Two Brothers Lane, Morgan City, LA, on felony drug charges arising out of a traffic stop on Andras Street in Bayou L’Ourse on Wednesday.

The deputy initiated a stop of that vehicle and made contact with the driver. The deputy noted a total of four individuals occupying the vehicle.

Upon interviewing Jill Marie Parker, the deputy noted conditions consistent with illegal drug activity. The deputy was notified that a fugitive warrant existed for Parker. Jill Marie Parker was taken into custody and subsequently arrested.

A consent to search was obtained for the vehicle. During the search, deputies seized controlled dangerous substances as well as drug paraphernalia which was attributed to Jill Marie Parker. She was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Possession of MDMA (Ecstasy)
*Possession of Methamphetamine
*Sale, Distribution, or Possession of a Legend Drug without a Prescription or Order
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*Fugitive – St. Mary Parish (2 Counts)

Jill Marie Parker remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.

The driver, Catina Marie Foret, 40, of 164 Andras Street, Bayou L’Ourse, LA, was cited for Improper Lane Usage and released.
