TRAFFIC STOP – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS – CHAD A. LEBLANC
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Chad A. LeBlanc, 55, of 1070 Highway 402, Napoleonville, LA, on felony drug charges arising out of a traffic stop Friday evening near Napoleonville, LA.
A uniformed patrol deputy observed a northbound vehicle with a licensing violation and initiated a stop of that vehicle. The deputy made contact with the driver, now identified as Chad A LeBlanc and conducted an officer / violator interview. The deputy noted LeBlanc to appear very nervous and observed actions consistent with illegal drug activity.
Chad A LeBlanc consented to a search of the vehicle. During that process, deputies seized a quantity of methamphetamine and assorted drug paraphernalia.
Chad A. LeBlanc was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Methamphetamine
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*No License Plate
Chad A. LeBlanc remains incarcerated with bond set at $35,000.
