TRAFFIC STOP – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS
TYSIE MARIE DABNEY, THOMAS JAMES GUILLOT, JR.
PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Tysie Marie Dabney, 41, of 3631 Keith Street, Pierre Part, LA and Thomas James Guillot, 39, of 215 Paradise Alley, Donalsonville, LA, following a traffic stop on LA 70 near Belle River, LA, on Thursday afternoon.
Uniformed patrol officers and narcotics officers initiated the stop of a vehicle for multiple traffic violations. Deputies made contact with the driver now identified as Thomas James Guillot.
The driver was interviewed along with the passenger, identified as Tysie Marie Dabney.
During those interviews, deputies and narcotics agents noted signs consistent with illegal drug activity. Deputies requested and were granted consent to search the vehicle. During that process, a large quantity of meth-amphetamine was seized.
Both Tysie Marie Dabney and Thomas James Guillot, Jr., were arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center.
Tysie Marie Dabney, a previously convicted felon, was booked on counts of:
*Possession of Meth-Amphetamine with Intent to Distribute
*Parole Violation
Thomas James Guillot, Jr. was booked on charges of:
*Possession of Meth-Amphetamine with Intent to Distribute
*Possession of Marijuana
*Taking Contraband into a Penal Institution
*Driving on Roadway Laned for Traffic
*Illegal Window Tint
*Probation Violation
Both Dabney and Guillot remain incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
