TRAFFIC STOP – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS – ELVEN MARIE JOHNSON

PAINCOURTVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Elven Marie Johnson, 41, of 4258 Highway 90 East, Des Allemonds, LA, on felony drug charges arising out of a Friday traffic stop in Paincourtville, LA.

A narcotics unit observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation and conducted a stop of the vehicle. The occupant of the vehicle, now identified as Elven Marie Johnson, was interviewed by agents. The interview process resulted in the seizure of hydrocodone and methamphetamine.

Elven Marie Johnson was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Possession of Hydrocodone
*Possession of Methamphetamine
*Driving on Roadway Laned for Traffic

Elven Marie Johnson was incarcerated and released on a $10,000 bond.
