TRAFFIC STOP – FUGITIVE – ST. MARY PARISH
RONALD LEE CLARK, GILBERT CHRISTOPHER HOWARD
BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Ronald Lee Clark, 55, of 8258 Stern Avenue, Baton Rouge, LA, on fugitive warrants from St. Mary Parish following a traffic stop on Highway 182 near Bayou L’Ourse.
A uniformed patrol deputy observed a vehicle with licensing violations and initiated a stop of that vehicle. The deputy made contact with the driver, now identified as Gilbert Christopher Howard, 53, of 1014 Levee Road, Morgan City, LA and one passenger identified as Ronald Lee Clark. The deputy conducted officer violator interviews and conducted a criminal warrants check on both individuals. It was determined that Ronald Lee Clark was wanted on fugitive warrants from St. Mary Parish.
Ronald Lee Clark was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Fugitive Warrants – St. Mary Parish on Charges of Unauthorized Use of a Moveable, Careless Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Expired Driver’s License
Ronald Lee Clark remains incarcerated pending transfer to St. Mary Parish.
Gilbert Christopher Howard was cited for: No Drivers License, Improper Display of License Plate and Switched License Plate.
Howard was released and ordered to appear in court.
