UNAUTHORIZED ENTRY OF AN INHABITED DWELLING
TYLER GAUTHIER

BELLE ROSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Tyler Gauthier, 22, of 112 Creole Street, Belle Rose, LA, on felony charges related to a Sunday incident near Belle Rose.

Deputies responded to a complaint early Sunday and made contact with the complainant. The caller advised that Gauthier could be seen on her doorbell camera attempting to get into her home. The deputy was able to establish that the incident did occur. The deputy thought that Gauthier needed medical attention and Acadian Ambulance was summoned. Gauthier was taken to a local hospital for evaluation but was released a short time later.

Deputies were called again and observed Tyler Gauthier on camera footage attempting to enter the home a second time.

Tyler Gauthier was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Unauthorized Entry of an Inhabited Dwelling
*Criminal Mischief – Tampering with Property

Tyler Gauthier was incarcerated pending a bond hearing and will undergo additional medical evaluation.
