DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS
DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS – DOUGLAS MARC SNOW, II and TINA RACHELL DELATTE
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Douglas Marc Snow, II, 26, of 1091 Bradford Road, Amite, LA, arising out of an incident near a residential area off of LA 308 south of Napoleonville.
As a result of this same incident, detectives and narcotic agents issued misdemeanor summonses to Tina Rachel Delatte, 48, of 4097 Highway 129 Jonesville, LA, for licensing violation and a misdemeanor drug related charge.
During mid-morning on Monday, detectives responded to a complaint of a suspicious person / vehicle in a residential area south of Napoleonville. When detectives arrived, the subject had left the area.
Through a combined effort, detectives and agents were able to identify the suspect and were able to secure a meeting place with him on Tuesday in Napoleonville.
When the suspect showed up on Tuesday, investigators determined that Douglas Marc Snow, II was indeed one and the same as the individual complained of on Monday. During the interview process, detectives and agents determined that activity consistent with illegal drug use / possession was present and warranted additional investigation.
A K-9 was summoned to the location on Tuesday and conducted an open-air sniff of the suspect vehicle and alerted positive to the presence of illegal drugs.
A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of methamphetamine, which was attributed to Douglas Marc Snow, II. Also seized was a quantity of assorted drug paraphernalia which was attributed to both Douglas Marc Snow, II and Tina Rachell Delatte.
Douglas Marc Snow, II was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Methamphetamine
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Douglas Marc Snow, II remains incarcerated pending bond proceedings.
Tina Rachell Delatte was issued summonses for:
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*Switched License Plate
Tina Rachell Delatte was released and issued a court appearance date.
