OUTSTANDING WARRANTS – HARBORING A FUGITIVE
JAMON DEONDRE HERBERT, SHANDRIKA L. SCOTT

BELLE ROSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Jamon Deondre Herbert, 28, of 179 Violet Street, Thibodaux, LA and Shandrika L. Scott, 32, of 165 Blackwell Lane, Belle Rose, LA, on felony warrants related to past criminal activity by Jamon Deondre Herbert.

On Tuesday evening, deputies observed a vehicle generally driven by Jamon Deondre Herbert to be in the area of Blackwell Lane. Deputies had prior knowledge that Herbert was wanted on felony charges in Assumption and Lafourche Parishes.

Deputies went to the residence where the vehicle was located and made contact with Shandrika L. Scott. Upon interviewing Ms. Scott, she informed deputies that Jamon Deondre Herbert was not in the residence. Deputies had secured a search warrant for 165 Blackwell Lane.

Deputies executed the search warrant at which time Herbert was located.

Jamon Deondre Herbert was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Warrant for Home Invasion
*Resisting an Officer
*Fugitive for Lafourche Parish

Jamon Deondre Herbert remains incarcerated with bond set at $210,000.

Shandrika L. Scott was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Harboring a Fugitive – Accessory after the Fact
*Resisting an Officer

Shandrika L. Scott remains incarcerated with bond set at $160,000.
