AGGRAVATED ASSAULT WITH A FIREARM – WARRANT

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Oceana D. Holly, 34, of 109 Lacey Street, Napoleonville, LA, on a felony warrant for Aggravated Assault with a Firearm arising from an incident on or about December 29, 2020.
On January 1, 2024, deputies responded to the 100 block of LA 403 in reference to someone continuously beating on the door of a residence.
Upon arrival, deputies made contact with Oceana D. Holly who advised she was there to try and talk to a domestic acquaintance which led to a disturbance.
While investigating this complaint, deputies determined that an outstanding warrant existed for the arrest of Oceana D. Holly in connection to an incident dating back to December 29, 2020. In that matter, Holly allegedly pointed a firearm at another female during an ongoing domestic feud.
Investigating deputies filed criminal charges against Oceana D. Holly at that time, but she fled the area.
Oceana D. Holly was arrested on Monday and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on the 2020 warrant charging her with:
*Aggravated Assault with a Firearm
Oceana D. Holly remains incarcerated and released on a $30,000 surety bond.
