FAILURE TO APPEAR / FUGITIVE WARRANT
JODY ANTHONY RODRIGUE, TREY ANTHONY ANDREWS
LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jody Anthony Rodrigue, 29, of 216 Heriard Street, Plattenville, LA, arising from a traffic stop on LA 308 near Labadieville on Saturday evening. A uniformed patrol deputy observed a vehicle with multiple traffic and equipment violations. The deputy initiated a stop of the vehicle and made contact with the driver, now identified as Trey Anthony Andrews, 31, of 3030 July Street, Baton Rouge, LA. The deputy engaged the driver into an officer / violator interview.
The deputy then made contact with the passenger, now identified as Jody Anthony Rodrigue. Deputies determined that Rodrigue was wanted in Assumption Parish on a warrant for Failure to Appear in Court as well as a fugitive warrant from Lafourche Parish.
Jody Anthony Rodrigue was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish on charges of:
-Illegal Possession of Stolen Things
-Operating a Vehicle with a Suspended License
-Switched License Plate
Jody Anthony Rodrigue was incarcerated and released on a $100 bond.
Trey Anthony Andrews was cited for:
*Head Lamps Required
*Switched License Plate
*Following too Closely
*Driver Under a Suspended Driver’s License
Trey Anthony Andrews was released and ordered to appear in court.
