FINANCIAL CRIMES – CHRISTIAN MICHEALS FIELDER

PIERRE PART– Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Christian Micheals Fielder, 25, of 122 North Curtis Street, Pierre Part, LA, on multiple felony financial crimes arising from an incident in December of 2022.

Deputies responded to a complaint in which Christian Micheals Fielder sought assistance from an individual he knew in cashing what Fielder purported to be a valid payroll check. The victim learned that the check in question was fraudulent.

Detectives initiated an investigation and determined that the check, valued at $4,000 was indeed fraudulent and that Fielder had received the $4,000 from the victim.

At the conclusion of the investigation, detectives secured arrest warrants charging Chistian Micheals Fielder on multiple felony counts.

Christian Micheals Fielder was arrested on Sunday and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Felony Theft
*Access Device Fraud
*Forgery
*Monetary Instrument Abuse

Christian Micheals Fielder remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
