THEFT OF A MOTOR VEHICLE – JAMYRE ARMONDRE MITCHELL
PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jamyre Armondre Mitchell, 19, of 507 Ledet Drive, Thibodaux, LA, on felony theft charges which involved an automobile in April.
On April 20, 2022, deputies responded to a call from a residence on Mam and Pap Drive in Pierre Part in reference to a stolen car.
Deputies interviewed the victim and learned that an acquaintance had invited several individuals over, one of those persons being Jamyre Armondre Mitchell.
Detectives initiated an investigation and were able to identify Mitchell as the suspect. A warrant was issued for his arrest. The automobile was recovered by the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Jamyre Armondre Mitchell was arrested on September 25, 2022 by the Vermillion Parish Sheriff’s Office. Mitchell was transported and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on Monday on a charge of:
*Theft of a Motor Vehicle
Mitchell remains incarcerated with bond set at $50,000.
