DISTURBANCE – FELONY ARREST WARRANTS – CRANISHA HENRY
LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Cranisha Henry, 21, of 2800 Hirshfield Road, Houston, Texas on felony charges arising from an incident on August 27, 2022 in Napoleonville, LA.
Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a disturbance as well as a hit and run incident. Deputies made contact with the complainant / victim who advised she was intentionally struck by a vehicle being driven by Cranisha Henry resulting in the victim seeking medical attention. The incident was a result of a dispute which led Cranisha Henry to arm herself with a knife and became aggressive towards the victim.
The confrontation continued and at some point, Cranisha Henry made several attempts to run over the victim with her car.
As a result of the ensuing investigation, deputies filed arrest warrants against Cranisha Henry.
Deputies received information on Sunday that Henry was at a Delaune Street address in Labadieville. Deputies went to the residence and located Henry hiding in a closet. Henry was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Aggravated Battery with a Dangerous Weapon
*Aggravated Assault
*Hit and Run Driving
*Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish on Charges of – Unauthorized Entry of
An Inhabited Dwelling
Carnisha Henry remains incarcerated pending bond proceedings.
