DOMESTIC INCIDENT – CRAIG JAMES SETTOON

PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Craig James Settoon, 57, of 105A North Bay Road, Pierre Part, LA, on felony domestic charges arising from and incident late Saturday night in Pierre Part related to a disturbance.

Deputies were dispatched to the location and made contact with the complainant who advised that her domestic partner was intoxicated and irate and he had a firearm in his possession. The complainant further advised of a prior incident on or about February 4, 2024 when the accused now identified as Craig James Settoon, had pointed a firearm and threatened her.

Deputies made contact with Settoon and proceeded to interview him. Deputies did take possession of a firearm.

At the conclusion of the investigation, deputies arrested Craig James Settoon and booked him into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Domestic Abuse Aggravated Assault

Craig James Settoon remains incarcerated with bond set at $50,000.
