FELONY THEFT – KENNETH L. WOODS
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Kenneth L. Woods, 66, of 174 Highway 1008, Apartment A, Napoleonville, LA, arising from a theft investigation in Napoleonville.
On January 13, 2024, the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a theft in the 400 block of Franklin Street in Napoleonville.
Through investigation, detectives were able to develop Kenneth L. Woods as a suspect. Detectives determined that Kenneth L. Woods and the victim were affiliated prior to and through this criminal act.
Detectives were able to recover a large amount of the stolen items during the investigation and further determined that the items were sold to others by Kenneth L. Woods.
At the conclusion of the investigation, deputies secured arrest warrants for Kenneth L. Woods for theft of goods valued between $1000 and $5000, a felony under Louisiana law.
Kenneth L. Woods was arrested by an I.C.E. assigned deputy on Thursday and was subsequently booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

Kenneth L. Woods remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
