TRAFFIC STOP – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS
DEVIN MICHAEL HENN, AUTUMN MARIE UGAS
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Devin Michael Henn, 23, of Oakshire Drive, Houma, LA and Autumn Marie Ugas, 24, of 1 North Circle, Houma, LA on felony drug charges arising from a traffic stop on LA 400 south of Napoleonville early Saturday morning.
A uniformed patrol deputy observed a vehicle on LA 400 commit a traffic violation and initiated a stop of that vehicle. The deputy made contact with the driver, now identified as Devin Michael Henn. The deputy proceeded to interview Henn and at some point, determined that Henn was wanted on fugitive warrants from Terrebonne Parish. Devin Michael Henn was arrested. During a pat down search, a quantity of morphine doses were seized.
The deputy then interviewed the passenger, now identified as Autumn Marie Ugas. As Ugas was exiting the vehicle, the deputy observed her throwing an item to the roadside. Deputies conducted a protective pat down search of Ugas and did seize several doses of morphine from her person. Autumn Marie Ugas was arrested. A minor child in the vehicle was released to a guardian.
Devin Michael Henn was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Morphine
*Illegal Use of Controlled Dangerous Substances in the Presence of Persons Under 17
Years of Age
*Speeding
*Fugitive Warrant – Terrebonne Parish
Autumn Marie Ugas was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Morphine
*Illegal Use of Controlled Dangerous Substance in the Presence of Person Under 17
Years of Age
Devin Michael Henn and Autumn Marie Ugas remain incarcerated pending bond hearings.
