TRAFFIC STOP – FUGITIVE ARREST
PATTIE ANN LAFONT, JENNIFER LAUREN BOUDIN
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Patti Ann Lafont, 55, of 306 Hummingbird Drive, Houma, LA, on a fugitive warrant from Lafourche Parish following a traffic stop on LA 308 near Napoleonville on Monday evening.
A uniformed patrol deputy observed a vehicle with an equipment violation and initiated a stop of that vehicle. The deputy made contact with the driver, now identified as Jennifer Lauren Boudin, 37, of 458 Sugarcane Street, Houma, LA and engaged Boudin in an officer / violator interview.
The deputy proceeded to interview the lone passenger, now identified as Pattie Ann Lafont. The deputy conducted a warrants check on Lafont and determined that she was wanted on a fugitive warrant from Lafourche Parish.
Patti Ann Lafont was arrested. At some point, the deputy concluded that additional investigation relative to the stop was warranted. The deputy requested and was granted permission to search the vehicle. During the search process, assorted drug paraphernalia was seized and was attributed to both Pattie Ann Lafont and Jennifer Lauren Boudin.
Patti Ann Lafont was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Fugitive Warrant – Lafourche Parish
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Lafont was transferred to Lafourche Parish.
Jennifer Lauren Boudin was cited for:
*Illegal Window Tint
*Driving Under a Suspended Driver’s License
*Owner to Secure Registration
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Jennifer Lauren Boudin was released and ordered to appear in court
